Project Overview
The Ningo-Prampram District Assembly is constructing a CHPS Compound Staff Accommodation Block at Someh in the Ningo Traditional Area. The facility will provide on-site residential quarters for healthcare workers assigned to the Someh CHPS Compound, ensuring round-the-clock availability of health personnel to serve the community.
Staff accommodation is a critical component of functional CHPS compounds under the Ghana Health Service model. By providing dedicated living quarters at the facility, the Assembly is addressing one of the key barriers to sustained healthcare delivery in rural and peri-urban communities — the challenge of retaining health workers in underserved areas far from urban centres.
